Medical care system

In the Thoracic Surgery Group, we interact with patients as a treatment team. The treatment team consists of the chief and several residents and graduate students. We ask for your cooperation in this regard as we are a part of a teaching hospital.

For outpatients

We accept patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays based on appointment except in the case of emergencies.
New patients must submit to a pre-consultation session (interview on progress and medical history).

About reservation for hospitalization

Hospital admission in the Respiratory Surgery Group is based on appointment. After consultation with the attending surgeon, follow the necessary procedures at the admission center. Once your admission date is determined, you will be notified by the admission center. The admission date is normally scheduled on Thursday or Friday of the week prior to the surgery. When cancellation of surgery for another patient occurs, you may be scheduled on short notice. If you have any problem with the appointment date, please let us know at the time you are notified.
